I have no idea what happened to it but I lost the first page of my Photo Album, so I will try to recreate it as best I can.  Sorry about that, but things like that happen in this computer age!
To continue the story my mother and father lived on opposite sides of the great Mississippi river.  My mother lived in Andalusia, Illinois and my father lived in Buffalo, Iowa.  The mighty Mississippi stood between them, but there must have been some mystical drawing card between these two towns.  All but two of my mothers siblings married spouses from accross the river.
To begin at the beginning my Great Grandfather came to this country in 1856 from Germany.  In the research I've done he came from a village called Jarchow.  A year or two later his bride to be Marie Technl came over and they were married in Davenport, Iowa.
They later moved down the river to Buffalo, Iowa and my Grandfather, my Father and I were all born in the same house located on the banks of the Mississippi river.  That house is still standing.  In the picture on the left that is my Grandfather sitting on his mothers lap.  He obviously had three siblings for it was a family picture
My wonderful and
lovely mother, Martha Alma Anna

I've always been proud to claim this man as my father, Charles Francis Prignitz
And sure enough it wasn't too long that I came along and then there were three in the family.
And this is where my dad was employed during the first years.  He is seated 3rd from the left.  My Uncle Otto was leaning against the tree
A few more poses of me in my early years.  One in a dress - obviously my mom
had other ideas of the sex she wanted.  Oh well, I'm still around!
My mother, my Uncle Otto and someone who I can't identify
I have no recollect-ion of those early years in Buffalo.  My parents moved to Davenport, Iowa when I was an infant and then to Moline, Illinois where this picture was taken in front of the Peterson home.  We lived upstairs.
It was in Moline that my sister, Doris Irene was born
The proud big brother
Grandpa and Grandma, Helen Uncle Sidny and Aunt Leona Bates, and two of their childre, Everett and Kenneth,
This picture was taken on Uncle Otto's farm and I think it is of Glemdora and Martha Marie Dyer, Otto Jr, Billie with cake, and Richard Heinze along with me and Doris
